"I do not know beneath what sky nor on what seas shall be thy destiny; I only know it shall be high, I only know it shall be great."

destiny awaits the blacks. i can feel it.

let me bring all of u up to speed with regards to the nationwide floorball division 2 league. with a final day of matches to go, this's what the table looks like:

and guess what the final day round of matches has thrown up?:

12:00pm Blacks vs Tampines East Knights
8:00pm NUS Saints vs Singapore Schools

whaddaya know? the top 4 teams in the league squarin' off against one another on the penultimate day of the season. there couldn't have been a better script, doncha think? let me put in a little perspective here. the blacks are meetin' tampines east knights (tek), who're out of the runnin' for that all-important 2nd spot (only the top 2 get promoted to the prestigious division 1). and nus saints square off against the league champions s'pore schools.

if we win our match against tek at 12pm tomorrow, we'll move onto 26 points, one point ahead of nus saints, before their match at 8pm. and we'll get promoted to division 1 as long as nus saints lose their game. even if nus saints were to draw their match and move level with us on 26 points, we'd go thru due to our superior goal difference (see how vital goal difference might prove to be in the end?). now, i really don't see nus saints even managin' a draw in their match. with all due respect to nus, such is the class of s'pore schools that i think the saints will lose. but what's more crucial right now is this: we must win the match against tek, at all costs.

is it possible that nus saints might win tomorrow? maybe slightly. is it gonna be a tough match against tek? probably. are we gonna have to fight all out for that crucial win that'll get us to division 1? heck yeah. that's why i need all who know me to pray for us, so that the element of chance, or luck, favours us.

now, can we do it? that, my friends, is a definite yes. i believe in my fellas. and if my belief goes hand in hand with a never-say-die attitude and performance tomorrow, victory is ours. and destiny awaits.

    destiny awaits.

"Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved."
