so the lady comes up to me one day and tells me i should reduce the amount of chicken in my diet.

her gripe with my favourite feathered friend?

"u shouldn't eat so much chicken yogi. do u know that chickens are the descendants of the tyrannosaurus rex?"

yeah, that ain't birthday-candle-sized wax in your ears, u heard right.

and there i am, starin' at my girl in disbelief, concerned about her mind's functionality, thinkin' to myself, "oh u poor soul, the wheel is turnin' but the hamster is definitely dead."

so i'm gettin' ready to console her for what i was sure was nonsensical babble from the shallow end of the intellect pool. and in that time, alvin, sally, adrian, shyne and other blacks fellas assure me that the lady's right, and that chickens really did evolve from the t-rex.

sensin' an epidemic "you-must-be-bonkers" virus makin' its rounds amongst my friends, i went to great lengths gettin' all of them to consider suin' their brains for non-support. i was that sure they weren't makin' any sense.

and then, i come across this.

add to that the discovery of a cnn article that details recent scientific findings and genetic evidence backin' the "t-rex to t-pecks" theory.

hmm..

my, do i feel stupid now.
