    kids say the darndest things.

    so last nite, we're in the lady's uncle's car, gettin' a lift to tampines after havin' spent the day at the riverlife football tournament. and we're talkin' about a family that has virtually no idea that the lady and i are an item.

    and then, just as the lady and i are about to exit the car, this conversation takes place.

    the lady and i : thanks for the lift uncle, see u.

    uncle (in upbeat fashion) : yeah see u, bye.

    the lady's cousin : chieh chieh lydia.

    the lady : yes?

    the lady's cousin : remember to invite me to your wedding ok?

    uncle (in laughter that was almost hyena-like) : hoohoohoohoohoohoohoo..

    (in the distant, numerous ravens started moanin' in a cacophony of crows)

    told u, kids say the darndest things.
