    anybody selling 3-day weekends?

    boy, how quickly a weekend flies by.

    on friday, with the lady's blessings, i had a boys nite out at st james with my coursemates. didn't really enjoy much apart from the boys' company. oh, and i met a very good friend, sara pang, for the first time in 8 whole years. and she's gettin' married now already, amen to that. sara, i'm really happy for u.

    saturday, the lady and i headed to town to catch serbis, a filipino arthouse film. let's just say that for all the intellect and discernment that we try to bring to the movies, this was one that had us scratchin' our heads (quite literally) at the end. a waste of twenty bucks indeed.

    then we swung by a place that the lady suggested that turned out to be quite somethin'. great music, decently-priced drinks, laidback atmosphere, and some fine company in the form of lydia lee. better than most pubs i've been to, in my humble opinion. the result was pure indulgence, at acid bar (in town), the way aidylnegoy™ knows it.

    sunday mornin', i got back to somethin' the lady and i share, and i'm really thankful for it. met a couple of old faces, such as joyce, chye aik and jackson, and was glad to be back where we both belong, if i could put it that way.

    after that, the lady and i spent a fantastic afternoon together, before her trip back to office for some work. and boy, was it some fantastic time baby, won't forget it!

    and just like that, the weekend's over. thankfully, i am somewhat recharged for the week ahead, a period when things will start rollin' along and i'll be goin' full-steam ahead in due time. i've braced myself, and hopefully it's all good when i turn in my report card for the week on fri for all your curious eyes. watch this space (p.s: lydia lee, 1-4-3).
