    initiation

    so we were officially initiated into the jandakot family last nite. while the proceedings were generally crazy and fun, a part of the nite gave me further evidence as to why my decision to avoid alcohol for the most part of my life has been a sound one.

    i didn't enjoy the alcohol one bit, but just went along with the flow literally in a show of sportsmanship. and boy have i been payin' for it today. headaches, countless bouts of puking, loss of apetite.. hmm, so tell me why people love to drink again?

    anyhow now that the event's outta the way, i'm glad to get back to my relatively drink-free existence.

    in other news, i'm expectin' to go solo sometime within the next 2 weeks if the weather keeps bein' favourable. while it's somethin' excitin' to look forward to, i'm gonna keep myself grounded, focus, and take things one day at a time. watch this space.
